About
On January 17, 1924 a small group of engineers met in Chicago, Illinois to establish an association for consideration of the technology of asphalt paving. Since then, the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists has grown from its original 19 charter members to the present roster of over 800 members from every continent in the world.

The FHWA/NAPA Warm Mix Asphalt Technical Working Group is pleased to announce a call for abstracts for its upcoming 2nd International Conference on Warm Mix Asphalt to be held in St. Louis, Missouri on October 11-13, 2011. Please consider submitting a paper on this very timely topic. See the full call for abstracts, which are due by December 17, 2010. Thank you for helping to make this program a success.

The Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists will be actively soliciting papers for its 2011 Annual Meeting and Technical Sessions in May 2010. Papers reporting on studies concerning any aspect of asphalt paving technology or related fields are considered for presentation and publication in the Association’s prestigious Journal.

Annual Meeting

The three day annual technical meeting of AAPT is held in the spring every year, and includes asphalt related technical sessions, symposium, and workshops. This year's 85th Annual Meeting was held on March 7-10, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency at Capitol PLaza in Sacramento, California.
