2011 Annual Meeting

86th AAPT Annual Meeting and Technical Sessions
The 2011 Annual Meeting was held at the Marriott Waterside Hotel in Tampa, Florida on March 27-30, 2011. There were 217 attendees from 17 countries around the world, representing suppliers, consultants, contractors, universities, government agencies and other researchers. Their common interest is research into materials and methods on how to build better roads.

Each of the sessions included presentations by experts in the field followed by open discussions. The papers and discussions will be published in Volume 80 of the AAPT Journal. There were 46 papers submitted for the March 2011 AAPT Meeting. The Board of Directors developed the technical sessions from these papers.

  • AAPT's 2012 Annual Meeting
    The next Annual Meeting will be held in Austin, Texas at the OMNI Downtown on April 1-4, 2012.
  • AAPT has received generous gifts for the AAPT Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship for 2009 was awarded to Mary M. Robbins, Auburn University. Applications for the 2010 scholarship should be sent to the AAPT office not later than May 1, 20010. The scholarship will be awarded July 15, 2010.

President Dave Newcomb is encouraging all members to contact potential new members and request them to apply for membership. They can apply for membership on the AAPT website on the MEMBERSHIP page.
